PTC Creo Interactive: More Showing, Less Telling

Software vendors can be a little difficult to follow, I know. We tend to fall in love with space-saving adjectives and try to pack two pages of a product description into a single bullet point:

  • Comprehensive auto-assisted duplex multi-tonics system
  • Tele-sensitive vendor-oriented and –capacitive output
  • Polyp-neutral terabyte-loaded flow editable and edible!

None of that means anything. I just made it all up. See how we are?

I think for someone new to a technical area, whether it’s CAD, PDM, or even computers in general, it’s sometimes hard to understand what a product really does based on the marketing. Even for experienced engineers, product descriptions can seem dense and ambiguous.

That’s why we’re making more and more videos. We’ve turned to more showing and less telling–especially when we think we’ve got something worth demonstrating.

And with that, I’d like to introduce The PTC Creo Interactive Experience. This web page hosts 12 videos, each about 3 minutes or less, describing and showing PTC Creo at work.  We’ve divided them into functional areas, and provided links to free demo software. It’s all there!

 PTC Creo Experience

Don’t try to guess at how you might use PTC Creo for concept design or simulation. Just play a video or two. You’ll get the idea in no time.
